Vienna, Austria
Vienna is a city which is almost too good to be true. Everything is just perfect. It doesn't matter what reason brings you here, you will enjoy your time.
Vienna was one of the first cities outside of my Country which I visited, since it is pretty close to where I live. The first two times were one day trips, where I visited the famous Weihnachstmarkt. Later I visited the city multiple times with ESN as well. For a short period I also worked in the city on multiple projects.
It also doesn't matter which transport you choose. If you arrive by Plane trains or buses can take you to the centre quickly. Traffic can be a bit loaded, but you don't really have to worry about that since the city has plenty of P+R parking lots, which are close enough to get to the centre quickly, but far enough to avoid traffic jams in the centre.

You can also arrive by bike. And You would love it. EuroVelo 6 bike road is going along the Danube and EuroVelo 9 is also crossing the city. Vienna has so much to offer. Beautiful historical buildings in the centre. Huge palaces. Nice Parks. Museums. Concerts.
I don’t even want to start with a list of the tourist attractions, because it is impossible to see everything in a week. Just make sure that you spend more than two days here and leave enough time for doing nothing. Yes you heard me. Nothing. Just sit down in a park, or in a bar, restaurant and enjoy it.
One of my favorite visits in Vienna was, when we traveled there from Budapest by hitchhiking. I organized the event with ESN and it was a great success. More then 30 people managed to get there. Some of us was taken by an empty bus some of us was taken by a Porsche just broke down halfway and some (like me) got into an accident. To make it a bit more interesting, we didn’t even book accommodation, after partying trough the night we catched a train in the morning.
