Huacas de la Luna

Just like the Chimu empire, the Moche culture was also unknown to me until yesterday. They lived here before the Chimu around 300 to 700. And they left to us the Temple of the Moon and the Temple of the Sun. Two enormous structures made of clay bricks. Some parts of the temple remain untouched and after careful excavations we can now see the frescoes made by the Moche people more than thousands of years ago. Goosebumps.
