Aracataca, Colombia

I love the books of Gabriel Garcia Márquez. The way he writes, that life, what he describes, the world which he creates is something extraordinary. He is one of the main reasons that I came to Colombia. It was really exciting walking on streets where he, my favourite writer grew up. It isn't Macondo, but Márquez was inspired by Aracataca for sure.
