Madrid

My first big journey to Colombia started in Madrid in 2019. And a few years later my another adventure to Argentina ended here, because most flights to South America are leaving from here. On both occasions I had a pretty good time.

The first time it was perfect for getting ready for Colombia. Especially because I met some Colombians there accidentally. I was having dinner at a restaurant alone, when I got a message with a phone number. Pretty unusual experience for me.

I guess she didn't expect that I'll leave two days later, but I met her and her friends the next day. We were walking around the city centre. I had lunch and later we joined a birthday party as well. It was fun. And after two days in Madrid I’ve already had some friends from Cali, Colombia. :)

The second time, when I arrived from Argentina, I stayed at my friend’s place who I know from ESN. He was super nice to me. I met many of his friends during the two days, we had good food at their home and at restaurants as well. He also showed me around in the city. So yes, I had a good time.

I love Madrid by the way. It has nice architecture, nice people and good food.
