Salento, Valle del Cocora, Ecuador

Valle del Cocora is one of the main tourist attractions in Colombia. Everyone who wants to visit a coffee field is going to end up here as well. When I left for Salento there was heavy rain. I was worried that I was not going to see anything, but it turned out great. There was still some rain and fog, but it just made the view more interesting.

I also met some nice people on the way up. There was a Colombian girl from Medellín who teaches english. A Colombian woman living in California, and a nice young couple. I even got a present from the English teacher. It was a small book with tongue twisters.
