Cheb is also a nice city. Worth visiting when you are nearby anyway. And well… Living in Hof I was nearby for a long time.

Cheb mit Deutschlandticket. Legally you should buy a ticket from the border to Cheb which is the first station when taking the train from Marktredwitz, but technically nobody is checking it so it is kinda free. However you can easily buy your ticket online or at the station.
