Chachapoyas
Without any doubt Chachapoyas is the prettiest town I’ve seen in Peru so far. It is really well organised. Clean. There is a visual guide for business logos. Every building is painted to white. There is an actual pedestrian street. The main square was built of real stone, which is so much more elegant than the painted concrete that is used in most of the cities. Just to see so many people walking on the streets softens my heart.
I was shocked how different everything is here. Look at this, Peru! You can do this!
